Parannoul – White Ceiling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp9qIHFlvgc Korean shoegaze, from the rare totally independent album to get attention from the music world. My favorite song of the year so far.

Ora the Molecule, Creator. Described on their badcamp as a multinational avant-garde pop music group, I discovered this song the other week and it seems to be criminally under viewed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H7ixRzL2SY

The Rare Occasions - Call Me When You Get There https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61rdU8uC__k My fave hometown band released a fun new song and some reviewer called it a "pop airport anthem" which is...something!

Grouplove - Deadline https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w31pC-A6V3c | This counts as new music. I've been listening to this song in particular probably way too much lately. If you've decided to organize things in some fashion, I'd put it in the pop/rock area; otherwise, enjoy!

The Helio Sequence - The Captive Mind [3:36]. An old favorite that evokes a feeling I don't think has a name in the English language, but probably cuts close to almost drowning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94MoaM-uCjw

Born Again Floozies - Steet Music https://youtu.be/_-39cT_XwGs Guitar forward indie-ish rock with folksy tones. Instead of a bass they have a tuba, and have tapdancing as part of their percussion ensemble, as well as uniquely prominant use of the Triangle

Seratones – Power https://youtu.be/LakVRoQayyQ Seratones are a soul/rock band from Shreveport, Louisana. "Power" has some excellent vocals from AJ Haynes and a beat that just slaps so hard. On top of that, the lyrics are excellent and this video showcases some fantastic people of color from around Shreveport having a great time. I love it.

'Janus ~Ending to Begin~' by Meine Meinung | https://mainemainuku.bandcamp.com/track/janus-ending-to-begin | Trying to keep things chilled, in line with the last few songs of the playlist, this track is from a Japanese band that focuses on, usually, soothing original music and game/anime covers, and is described as "Soulful and irish vocal music featuring Great Highland Bagpipes"

reposting because i guess the bot doesn't pick up single track albums; Tell Them Now - Pilotpriest - Do you remember Audiosurf? This is the track that builds up and sends you down the bumpy Moog ridden hills that give you chills. I have listened to it consistently for over a year at this point. https://pilotpriest.bandcamp.com/track/tell-them-now

G.O.A.T. - Polyphia (2019). Instrumental Math Rock with vaguely spooky vibes. Each individual band member is incredibly talented, but the composition is what makes this song amazing - the rhythem guitar, bass, and drums all expertly play off of each other. https://youtu.be/9_gkpYORQLU
